COMPANY Insurance Management Associates originated under the corporate name of Asbell-Levin Agency in 1962. It consisted of three principals, Eleanor Asbell, Benjamin Asbell and Marc Levin, with Marc Levin being the only active officer. In January of 1971, Asbell-Levin Agency merged with the Clyman-Wessel Agency to form Insurance Management Associates, which was a name change of the Asbell-Levin Agency corporation. At that time, the combined premium volume was $1,500,000. The agency principals, Marc Levin and Marvin Delfiner, opened offices in the Cherry Hill Office Center on Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. In 1981, Marc Levin purchased Marvin Delfiner's equity in the corporation and became the sole stockholder. The agency relocated to its present location in The Staffordshire Professional Center on White Horse Road in Voorhees, New Jersey, in November, 1987. The organization has continued to prosper to its present size of 25 employees and a premium volume in excess of $18,000,000. Currently, the corporate principals and stockholders are Marc Levin (President) and Lisa Levin Stegall (Executive Vice President/Secretary). Other elected Corporate Officers are Thomas J. Clerici and Ellen Outten, Vice Presidents; and Scott C. Stegall, Treasurer. |
